How activation works

  1. Verify a qualifying phone. Most unlocked GSM phones — including new iPhone and Samsung devices that run on T-Mobile — work on our GSM service. Our CDMA plans are compatible with most Verizon smart phones available today.
  2. Purchase your plan. Pick a GSM or CDMA line of service based on your phone’s compatibility. Once your transaction is complete, our warehouse staff promptly mails out your new SIM card with everything you need to activate.
  3. Receive your SIM card. Your new line will be ready for activation before the SIM even reaches your door. New devices can also be set up without a physical SIM using our eSIM connect for instant activation.
